Telynau Grand Slam, "Rugger" WPCSA registration number: # pending foaled: April 30, 2005 Sire: Paddock Golden Dancer # 39413 Dam: 106446 Prestonmill Genevieve Rugger as we affectionately call him, was imported from the renowned Telynau Stud in December 2005. Rugger was one of only a few jet-black babies born at Telynau Stud. We are fortunate to own this future champion and we look forward to seeing his future offspring. He is friendly and curious with people. He is maturing nicely; this boy will turn heads in the show ring. Rugger, as our future stallion will be an asset to our breeding program. Rugger's pedigree includes such lines as Downland, Ceulan, and Coed Coch, to name a few. Rugger's sire, champion Paddock Golden Dancer, is a flashy chestnut stallion who is known to produce quality offspring. His dam, Prestonmill Genevieve, is a beautiful brown/black mare whose sire is Windborne Jeremy Fisher. As a three year old, Rugger has impeccable ground manners and is still maturing nicely. We are happy to say that this year we chose to use Rugger for some of our breeding plans. He successfully bred two of our stunning mares, Rosmel Strawberry Fizz and Hickory Springs Cypress, our Thoroughbred mare. We are excited about these two foals that will be on the ground in April next year. Rugger is such a joy to own, and with his loving personality, great conformation and bloodlines behind him, he is sure to produce champion after champion for us!
